Before you convert
Requires the server rendering engine; interactive scripts and login-protected pages may not render. External resources must be publicly reachable.
Capture a webpage or HTML file as a PDF
HTML to PDF renders markup into a document — upload an HTML file or provide a public webpage URL. The result freezes the rendered layout into PDF pages.
URL mode depends on a server rendering engine fetching the page, so it only works for publicly reachable content. Pages behind logins, heavy interactivity, or bot protection may not render correctly.
Useful situations
- Archive a receipt, confirmation, or article as a PDF.
- Convert an HTML report or invoice template into a shareable file.
- Snapshot a public page for offline reading.
How to use HTML to PDF
- Upload an HTML file, or paste a public URL in the URL field.
- Convert — the server renders the markup into PDF pages.
- Download and check that styles and images rendered as expected.
What to expect
- Interactive features — forms, video, live widgets — become static output.
- Login-protected and bot-blocked pages cannot be fetched by URL mode.
- Rendering engines differ from your browser, so complex layouts can shift.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the PDF not match what I see in my browser?
The server renders with its own engine and no login session, cookies, or extensions. Pages that personalize or lazy-load content may render incompletely.
Can I convert a page that requires sign-in?
Not by URL — the server cannot authenticate. Save the page as an HTML file while logged in and upload that file instead.
Is uploading an HTML file or a URL more reliable?
A saved HTML file is more predictable because the markup is fixed. URL mode depends on what the server-side renderer can fetch at that moment.
