Pages to delete

Deleted pages are removed permanently from the output document.

Before you convert

Pages are specified with 1-based numbers (for example 3 or 2-4,7). You cannot delete every page.

Remove unwanted pages from a PDF

Delete PDF Pages removes specified pages and returns the shortened document — the opposite of splitting. Everything you do not list is kept.

List pages with 1-based numbers: “3” deletes page three, “2-4,7” deletes pages two through four and seven. You cannot delete every page — at least one must remain.

Useful situations

  • Strip blank or cover pages before sharing.
  • Remove confidential pages from a document copy.
  • Shorten a report to just the relevant sections.

How to use Delete PDF Pages

  1. Select a PDF within the size limit.
  2. Enter the pages to remove, using numbers and ranges like 2-4,7.
  3. Convert and verify the remaining pages are complete.

What to expect

  • Deletion is permanent in the output file — keep the original if unsure.
  • Internal links and bookmarks pointing at removed pages may break.
  • Removing sensitive pages hides them visually; use proper redaction for legally sensitive content.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete page 5 and pages 10 through 12?

Enter “5,10-12” in the pages field — the output keeps everything else in order.

Can I undo a page deletion?

Only by converting the original file again — the edited PDF has the pages removed permanently.

Is deleting pages the same as redacting them?

No — deleted pages are gone entirely, while redaction hides content that stays in the file. For sensitive material, deletion is actually stronger, but document it properly for legal contexts.
